Little by Little Dollhouse Miniatures does not offer Exchanges, Returns or Refunds of any kind on any items. All items are shipped with insurance to protect the buyer's investment. It is the responsibility of the buyer to understand the scale and condition of the item based on photos and descriptions provided. Items are often vintage and may have dried glue that results in detatched legs/pieces as a result of shipping. Little by Little makes every effort to properly represent the condition of the item and to package it securely. 
Clients (the owners of the merchandise) are compensated upon completion of transactions and thus it is not feasible for Little by Little to manage the accounting of returns, or we would have to hire more staff and pass the cost on to you, the customer. Instead, we ask you inspect photos for any defects or problems which may result in dissatisfaction, prior to purchase.

One of the things that bothers me most about buying online is when I know the cost of shipping is ridiculously inflated.

As a small, home-based business owner I wanted to bring my customers the best prices I could, and I really hated buying from sellers who clearly were overly inflating their shipping costs to make up for their low sale prices.

So Mom and I found a way to keep the cost down to save you money. We recycle boxes when we can. (So don't be surprised if something arrives in an Amazon box.) We scour the internet for the best shipping prices...AND THEN WE ONLY CHARGE YOU WHAT IT COSTS!

What that means for you is you pay for your items at checkout. We box them up. We send you an email with your shipping total. You pay that total. We put your box in the mail. If you want us to hold your box to combine shipping, we can do that too. Communication is KEY!
